Mike Marshall, Hon. President of Whitehouse & Grange and a former Scottish International has just completed his 50th playing season at Whitehouse & Grange. At the season’s green closing event, Club President Ivana Adamson presented Mike with a limited edition print of the Clubhouse ( from the original painted by Club Member Soosan Danesh) to mark this milestone and his contribution to the Club over the the last half- century.
Chocolatier Edward and Irwin in Morningside Road are latest addition to Club sponsors.
Their hot chocolate packs will be on sale at our Autumn Fair on 28thSeptember and you can also have the chance to win some of their chocolate in the raffle.
The Ladies signed off their Golden Jubilee Year with their annual Quaich Competition won this year by Maggie Clapperton & Chris Maguire

Monday 16th September
John Cameron & Ross Maguire overcame Martin Hunter and Malcolm Weir in a tight game to win the drawn Pairs Trophy.
After a short rest, John and Ross then played each other in the Seniors Final with Ross prevailing.

Parkside beat their fellow club-mates from Parkside in the Final to win the Purves Invitation Triples with Tim Purves presenting the cup to the winners
Steven Kirk won the Two Bowl competition winning over Charlie Scott in the Final.
He was also in the winning Triple along with Malcolm Weir and Fraser Milligan who overcame David Hudson, Stan Comber and Graham Bathgate to win the trophy
Fraser Milligan won the Presidents’ s Handicap for the third time in four years. Maybe review of his handicap rating needed fro next year?
Saturday 7th September
Despite not winning any trophies , it was a great day in the sunshine for Whitehouse and Grange and Steven Kirk as the President of EBL in hosting the Gents Knock-out finals and prize giving.
A lot of hard work at the Club to making a huge success of hosting EBL finals throughout the summer.
