Gents’ nominated triples won this year by Guy Llloyd Jones, John Wright & Stephen Fox. Our SESBA Senior Champions of Derek Nelson, Neil Gauld and Brian Gray could not quite emulate that success this time despite winning the most ends 8 to 7.

Both Two Bowls Finals were very close contests. Linda Scotland overcame Soosan Danesh to win Ladies’ and Neil Gauld was successful against Jim Moffat in the Mens’. In the Mens’ final, there were so many “touchers”( mostly by JIm) that the marker nearly ran out of chalk.
